Its wierd going from working every single day on the road, to having a couple weeks off at home. Its almost like running on a conveyor at the airport, and then jumping to a stop at the end. Its hard on the system.
In between my Tennessee trip and my 3 day trip to Maryland, I had a couple days in Vancouver, just enough to tease me.
Some friends were on their way back from a spring break in Revelstoke, and so we made a trip to the aquarium and some all-you-can-eat sushi. A true Vancouver experience.
This weekend Garvin and Connie, some friends from Winnipeg took me out for a wonderful dinner on Granville Island, and then the same night went out for drinks with Jamie and Heather. I haven’t seen Heather in 4 or 5 years, since we traveled around New Zealand together. It was a blast to be in the company of such fun-loving people.
In one week I take off again. Rumors of Oregon, Washington State, and California circle around, but I won’t know until that plane ticket is in my hands. Then, its back on to the running on the conveyor.
